The RTC’s official smartphone app, rideRTC is now available for download! Whether you’re a first time rider and need to know how to get started, or a frequent rider and want to plan your trip out on the town, use this app to find your bus and buy your transit passes on your smartphone. Enjoy the convenience of planning your trip in advance, purchasing your transit pass before you board the bus and then using it when you’re ready to ride!

rideRTC Features

  • Plan your trip – Plan your next trip using transit with detailed step-by-step information.
  • Find your bus – Get arrival information about routes and bus stops near you and where you want to go.
  • Customer assistance – Call RTC customer service directly from the app.

Save time and pre-purchase your passes now. The app is FREE from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Before you can use the app to purchase tickets, you must complete a one-time account setup.

Activate your pass before boarding the bus  – All passes are delivered to your mobile wallet on your smartphone within the app. You must activate your pass before boarding and show the pass on your smartphone to the bus driver or fare enforcement officer when required.

What passes are available? – All RTC Transit passes are available except Residential Single Ride pass to customers through the rideRTC app. Fares include residential fares, Strip & Downtown fares, and reduced fares. Reduced fares are only available to current RTC reduced fare ID card holders with an account setup on the rideRTC app. Please email us to setup reduced fare on your app and an RTC representative will contact you.

Why can’t I get the rideRTC mobile app to work on my device? – In order to use the rideRTC app you must use a supported device and meet the minimum system requirements.  Some phones have settings in place that do not allow apps to be downloaded while on cellular networks. If you are having trouble downloading the app, try to do so by using Wi-Fi before further troubleshooting.  If you continue to experience issues with the rideRTC app, please contact customer service at (702) 228-7433.
