Program of Projects (POP) Public Comment Period

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) will hold a comment period and public meeting on the Program of Projects (POP) which identifies transit projects and funds for non-profit providers to serve the transportation needs of senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and low income residents in the valley.

As the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for transportation planning in Clark County, the RTC is amending the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) which includes the FFY2017 POP. The RTC is seeking public comment on the POP, funded by the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) programs:

– Section 5307 (Urbanized Area Formula grant)

– Section 5310 (Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities)

The RTC will hold the public meeting to allow the general public and service providers the opportunity to comment on the process and review the grant awards.


A public meeting will take place during the Transportation Access Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the RTC’s Administration Building, located at 600 S. Grand Central Parkway, Room 108.
