The Draft Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is a long-range transportation plan covering Fiscal Year (FY) 2009 to FY 2030. The
RTP and TIP are the result of the local transportation planning process that considers
input and recommendations from local governments, their technical staffs and private
citizens. Transportation planning activities are focused within the urban area roughly
coincident with the current Bureau of Land Management Disposal boundary.
Update on the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is proposing to adopt the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for FY 2009-2030 and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for FY 2009-2012. The RTP and TIP list all transportation projects in Southern Nevada that are expected to receive federal funding under Federal Highway Administration or Federal Transit Administration programs.
Public comment period for the RTP and TIP ended on Oct. 16, 2008. Comments received during the public comment period will be reflected in the final draft that may be viewed online on Oct. 31, 2008.
A public hearing on the RTP and TIP will be held on Thurs., Nov. 13, 2008, at the RTC Board of Commissioners’ Meeting at 8:45 a.m. in the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
