DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROGRAM
The RTC has established a goal to identify, communicate and work with businesses that are certified DBEs. A DBE is defined as a small business that is socially or economically disadvantaged. To learn more about DBE qualifications, read the DBE program specified below.
It is the policy of the RTC to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of U.S. Department of Transportation-assisted contracts and to create a level playing field on which DBEs can compete fairly for contracts and subcontracts.

PUBLIC NOTICE
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2010
The RTC has established a goal of 3.7 % for DBE Participation in federally funded contract opportunities for federal fiscal year 2010.
A description of the goal and the methodology used in selecting this goal is available for public review. Written comments will be accepted for a 45 day period until October 14,2009.

RTC SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
